Ingredients

Original recipe serves 4

Cantaloupe
1 medium, ripe and sweet
Water
2 cups, cold
Sugar
2 tablespoons (adjust to taste)
Ice cubes
as needed for serving
Mint leaves
for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the cantaloupe in half and scoop out the seeds using a spoon.
  2. Carefully cut the cantaloupe into chunks and remove the rind.
  3. Place the cantaloupe chunks, cold water, and sugar into a blender.
  4. Blend the mixture on high speed until smooth and well combined.
  5. Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if desired, then blend again to incorporate.
  6. Pour the cantaloupe mixture into a pitcher.
  7. Add ice cubes to the pitcher and stir well to chill the drink.
  8. Serve in glasses over additional ice if desired, and garnish with fresh mint leaves for an extra touch of freshness.
