
Air Fryer Chicken Parmesan
This air fryer chicken parmesan is made with chicken breasts, breadcrumbs, and Parmesan cheese.
Ingredients
- Mozzarella cheese (1 cup, shredded)
- Marinara sauce (1 cup)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Garlic powder (1 teaspoon)
- Parmesan cheese (1/2 cup, grated)
- Breadcrumbs (1 cup)
- Eggs (2, beaten)
- Chicken breasts (4, pounded to 1/2 inch thickness)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
- In a shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each chicken breast in the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Brush each chicken breast with olive oil.
- Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket and cook for 8 minutes.
- Flip the chicken breasts and cook for an additional 7 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Top each chicken breast with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Cook for an additional 2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
