Servings: 4

Ingredients

Sesame seeds
1 tablespoon
Green onions
2, chopped for garnish
Salt and pepper
to taste
Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
Ginger
1 tablespoon, freshly grated
Garlic
3 cloves, minced
Soy sauce
1/4 cup
Honey
1/4 cup
Shrimp
1 pound, peeled and deveined

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the marinade. Let them marinate for 15-20 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  4. Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap for even cooking.
  5. Cook the shrimp for 5 minutes, then carefully flip each shrimp using tongs and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy.
  6. Remove the shrimp from the air fryer and transfer to a serving dish. Garnish with the chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  7. Serve immediately while hot. These are perfect as an appetizer or served with steamed rice and stir-fried vegetables for a complete meal.
