Servings: 4

Ingredients

Cooking spray
as needed
Breadcrumbs
1/2 cup
Salt
1/4 teaspoon
Garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon
Bacon
4 slices, cooked and crumbled
Cheddar cheese
1 cup, shredded
Cream cheese
8 ounces, softened
Jalapeno peppers
8 large, halved and seeded

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. While the air fryer is heating, cut the jalapeno peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes to reduce spiciness. (For extra heat, you can leave some seeds in.)
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, and salt. Mix until well combined and creamy.
  4. Carefully fill each jalapeno half with the creamy cheese mixture, generously packing it in to ensure a delightful bite.
  5. Place the breadcrumbs in a shallow dish. Roll each stuffed jalapeno in the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to ensure they stick for a crispy finish.
  6. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  7. Arrange the stuffed jalapeno poppers in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not overcrowded for even cooking.
  8. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the poppers are golden brown and crispy. Check for doneness as air fryer temperatures may vary slightly.
  9. Once cooked, remove from the air fryer and allow to cool slightly before serving. For an extra kick, serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or spicy aioli.
