Ingredients

Lasagna noodles
9 sheets
Ground beef
1 pound
Onion
1 medium, diced
Garlic
3 cloves, minced
Tomato sauce
2 cups
Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon
Ricotta cheese
1 cup
Mozzarella cheese
2 cups, shredded
Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup, grated
Olive oil
1 tablespoon (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef, diced onion, and minced garlic, cooking until the beef is browned and the onion is translucent. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in the tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Grease an air fryer-safe baking dish with olive oil. Begin layering the lasagna: place 3 sheets of lasagna noodles at the bottom, followed by a third of the meat sauce, a third of the ricotta cheese, and a third of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat this layering process twice more, finishing with mozzarella on top and sprinkling grated Parmesan cheese for an extra cheesy crust.
  6. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and place it in the preheated air fryer.
  7. Air fry for 20 minutes, then carefully remove the foil and air fry for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown.
