Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, beat the egg. In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs and Italian seasoning together.
- Dip each frozen ravioli into the beaten egg, ensuring it's fully coated, then roll it in the breadcrumb mixture until well covered.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray for extra crispiness.
- Place the coated ravioli in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each piece for even cooking.
- Cook for 6 minutes, then carefully flip the ravioli and cook for an additional 6 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- While the ravioli are cooking, heat the marinara sauce in a small saucepan over low heat or in the microwave until warm.
- Once cooked, remove the ravioli from the air fryer and serve hot with the warm marinara sauce for dipping. Optionally, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
Tips
- For added flavor, try mixing grated Parmesan cheese into the breadcrumb mixture.
- You can use different types of ravioli, such as spinach and ricotta, or mushroom, for varied tastes.
- Ensure the ravioli are frozen; thawed or fresh ravioli may not crisp up as well.
