Ingredients

Original recipe serves 2

Paprika
1 teaspoon
Onion powder
1 teaspoon
Garlic powder
1 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/2 teaspoon, freshly ground
Salt
1/2 teaspoon, or to taste
Olive oil
2 tablespoons
Ribeye steak
2 steaks, about 1 inch thick each

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Rub the ribeye steaks with olive oil, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Evenly sprinkle the spice mixture over both sides of the steaks, rubbing it in for maximum flavor infusion.
  5. Once the air fryer is heated, place the steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Ensure they are not touching for even cooking.
  6. Cook the steaks for 7-9 minutes for a medium-rare finish. Adjust the cooking time if you prefer your steak more or less done.
  7. Halfway through the cooking time, carefully flip the steaks to ensure they cook evenly.
  8. After cooking, remove the steaks from the air fryer and let them rest for at least 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the steak, ensuring a moist and flavorful bite.
  9. Slice the steaks against the grain and serve hot.

Tips

  • 💡 For the best results, let your steak reach room temperature before cooking. This ensures even cooking.
  • 💡 For a spicy kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the spice blend.
