Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the beef roast generously with olive oil, then coat it with the spice mixture, ensuring all sides are well-seasoned.
- Place the seasoned beef roast in the air fryer basket.
- Cook the roast for 20 minutes, then flip it over and cook for an additional 15-20 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to check for your desired level of doneness: 135°F for medium-rare, 145°F for medium, and 160°F for well-done.
- Once cooked to your preference, remove the roast from the air fryer and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- While the roast is resting, prepare the sauce. In a small saucepan, combine beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- In a separate small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Slowly add this mixture to the simmering broth, stirring continuously until the sauce thickens.
- Slice the roast beef and serve hot, drizzled with the sauce.
Tips
- For added flavor, marinate the beef roast in the spice mixture for a few hours or overnight before cooking.
- Feel free to experiment with other herbs and spices like thyme or rosemary for a different flavor profile.
- Serve the roast beef with classic sides such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad to complete your meal.
