Air Fryer Sumptuous Steak Bites
Inspired by the traditional 'bistek' or bite-sized steak pieces popular in Latin American cuisine, these Air Fryer Sumptuous Steak Bites are a modern twist on a beloved classic. Cooked to perfection in an air fryer, each bite delivers juicy tenderness enveloped in a robust blend of spices. Quick and easy to prepare, these steak bites are an ideal choice for a hearty appetizer or a flavorful main course.
Servings: 4
Ingredients
- Black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon, freshly ground
- Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika
- 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil
- 2 tablespoons
- Sirloin steak
- 1 pound, cut into bite-sized pieces
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and freshly ground black pepper.
- Add the bite-sized steak pieces to the bowl. Toss until they are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
- Arrange the seasoned steak bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Ensure they are not overcrowded to allow for even cooking.
- Cook for 6 minutes, then flip the steak bites. Continue to cook for an additional 6 minutes for medium-rare doneness. Adjust the cooking time if you prefer a different level of doneness.
- After cooking, remove the steak bites from the air fryer. Allow them to rest for a few minutes before serving to seal in the juices.
- Serve hot. These steak bites make a delightful appetizer or a savory main course when paired with your favorite sides.
