Ingredients

Original recipe serves 4

Marinara sauce
1 cup, for dipping
Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon
Grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup
Breadcrumbs
1 cup
Egg
1, beaten
Frozen ravioli
12 pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Dip each frozen ravioli into the beaten egg, ensuring it's fully coated, then dredge it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
  4. Place the coated ravioli in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don't overlap to achieve maximum crispiness.
  5. Cook for 6 minutes, then carefully flip the ravioli using tongs and cook for an additional 6 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve the toasted ravioli warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.

Tips

  • 💡 For a spicy kick, add some red pepper flakes to the breadcrumb mixture.
  • 💡 Freshly grated Parmesan cheese will give a more flavorful result than pre-grated versions.
  • 💡 If you don't have an air fryer, you can bake these in the oven at the same temperature, just adjust the cooking time as necessary.
