Ingredients
- Marinara sauce
- 1 cup, for dipping
- Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon
- Grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup
- Breadcrumbs
- 1 cup
- Egg
- 1, beaten
- Frozen ravioli
- 12 pieces
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- In a shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well mixed.
- Dip each frozen ravioli into the beaten egg, ensuring it's fully coated, then dredge it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
- Place the coated ravioli in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they don't overlap to achieve maximum crispiness.
- Cook for 6 minutes, then carefully flip the ravioli using tongs and cook for an additional 6 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve the toasted ravioli warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
Tips
- For a spicy kick, add some red pepper flakes to the breadcrumb mixture.
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese will give a more flavorful result than pre-grated versions.
- If you don't have an air fryer, you can bake these in the oven at the same temperature, just adjust the cooking time as necessary.
