
Andhra Prawn Curry
Andhra Prawn Curry is a spicy and tangy dish with a flavor of garam masala and ground mustard. This curry is a delight for all seafood lovers.
Ingredients
- Coriander leaves (for garnish)
- Oil (2 tablespoons)
- Salt (to taste)
- Garam masala powder (1 teaspoon)
- Red chilli powder (1 teaspoon)
- Turmeric powder (1/2 teaspoon)
- Cumin seeds (1 teaspoon)
- Mustard seeds (1 teaspoon)
- Garlic (6 cloves, minced)
- Green chillies (2, slit)
- Tomatoes (2, finely chopped)
- Onions (2, finely chopped)
- Prawns (500 grams)
Instructions
- Clean the prawns and keep them aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
- Add chopped onions, green chillies and minced garlic. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft.
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt. Mix well.
- Add the prawns and cook on medium flame for about 10-15 minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice.
