Ingredients

Ground Turkish coffee
2 tablespoons
Water
1 cup
Almond extract
1/2 teaspoon
Sugar
1-2 teaspoons (to taste)
Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon, plus extra for garnish
Almonds
2 tablespoons, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small pot, combine the ground Turkish coffee, water, almond extract, and sugar.
  2. Stir well to blend the ingredients thoroughly before placing the pot over medium heat.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, watching it carefully to prevent overflowing.
