Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced apricots, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stir until the apricots are well coated. Let this mixture sit to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Arrange the tortillas on a baking sheet. Using a pastry brush, gently coat both sides of each tortilla with melted butter.
- Sprinkle the granulated sugar evenly over the buttered tortillas.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, until the tortillas are golden and crisp.
- Remove the tortillas from the oven and let them cool slightly. Once cool, break them into nacho-sized pieces.
- Arrange the tortilla chips on a serving platter. Spoon the apricot mixture evenly across the chips.
- Drizzle the honey over the apricots and tortilla chips.
- To serve, place a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side or atop the nachos. Enjoy your sweet and crunchy Apricot Crisp Nachos!
Tips
- For a fun variation, try replacing the apricots with peaches or plums.
- If you prefer a less sweet dessert, you can reduce the amount of granulated sugar or honey.
