Ashdod Almond Coffee

Embark on a culinary journey to the heart of Israel with this Ashdod Almond Coffee. It's a delightful fusion of rich coffee and sweet almond, with a comforting warmth that's perfect for any time of day. This coffee is reminiscent of the bustling coffee culture in Ashdod, a city known for its beautiful beaches and Mediterranean cuisine. The almond extract provides a sweet, nutty undertone that beautifully complements the bitterness of the coffee. Topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon, this beverage becomes a heavenly indulgence.

Serves 1

Ingredients

Ground coffee
2 tablespoons
Hot water
8 ounces
Milk
1/2 cup
Almond extract
1/2 teaspoon
Sugar
1 tablespoon
Whipped cream
to garnish
Ground cinnamon
to sprinkle

Instructions

  1. Brew the ground coffee with hot water using your preferred method. Set this aside once done.
  2. Heat milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until hot but not boiling. Be sure to stir it occasionally to prevent it from scorching.
  3. Remove the milk from the heat and stir in the almond extract and sugar until they're fully dissolved.
  4. Pour the brewed coffee into a large mug. Slowly add the almond milk mixture into the mug, stirring as you pour.
  5. Top your coffee with a generous dollop of whipped cream. Sprinkle some ground cinnamon on top for an extra dash of warmth and flavor.
  6. Serve your Ashdod Almond Coffee hot and enjoy the luxurious mix of coffee and almond flavors!

Tips

  • 💡 For a dairy-free version, you can replace milk with almond milk or any other non-dairy alternatives.
  • 💡 If you prefer your coffee strong, feel free to adjust the amount of ground coffee to suit your taste.
  • 💡 Add a bit of vanilla extract to complement the almond flavor.
