Ingredients

Original recipe serves 4

Ripe avocados
2
Honey
2 tablespoons
Lime juice
1 tablespoon
Vanilla extract
1 teaspoon
Canned coconut milk, full-fat
1/4 cup
Cocoa powder
1 tablespoon
Optional toppings: fresh berries, shredded coconut, chopped nuts
as desired

Instructions

  1. Cut the ripe avocados in half and remove the pits. Using a spoon, scoop out the avocado flesh and place it in a blender or food processor.
  2. Add the honey, lime juice, vanilla extract, coconut milk, and cocoa powder to the blender.
  3. Blend the mixture until it becomes smooth and creamy. Make sure to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender as needed.
  4. Taste the mousse and adjust the sweetness or tanginess if necessary by adding more honey or lime juice.
  5. Once you've achieved the desired flavor, transfer the mousse into serving glasses or bowls.
  6. Refrigerate the mousse for at least 1 hour, allowing it to set and develop its full flavor.
  7. When ready to serve, garnish the mousse with your choice of fresh berries, shredded coconut, or chopped nuts for additional texture and flavor.
