Chocolate shavings or coffee beans (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Begin by chilling your shot glasses in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
  2. Using a jigger, pour 1/2 ounce of coffee liqueur into the bottom of the chilled shot glass.
  3. Take a bar spoon and hold it upside down over the shot glass, allowing the back of the spoon to rest just above the coffee liqueur layer.
