- to taste
- Olive oil
- 2 tablespoons
- Brussels sprouts
- 20, halved

Instructions
- Start by soaking the wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes prior to grilling. This prevents them from burning.
- Preheat your grill to medium heat.
- While the grill is heating up, prepare the skewers. Thread a strip of bacon onto a skewer, then add a Brussels sprout half. Fold the bacon over the Brussels sprout and back onto the skewer, then add another Brussels sprout half. Continue this pattern until the skewer is filled.
- Repeat the process with the remaining skewers.
- Brush the prepared skewers with olive oil and season them generously with salt and pepper.
- Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the bacon is crispy and the Brussels sprouts are tender and charred.
- Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. They are best enjoyed hot.
Tips
- For a spicy kick, sprinkle some chili flakes before grilling.
- Basting the skewers with a bit of maple syrup in the last few minutes of grilling will add a sweet twist.
- Always remember to soak wooden skewers in water prior to grilling to avoid burning them.
