Pie crust
1 (9-inch), homemade or store-bought
Bacon
6 slices, cooked and crumbled
Cheddar cheese
1 cup, shredded
Green onions
1/4 cup, chopped
Heavy cream
1 cup
Eggs
4 large
Salt
1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and gently press it into a 9-inch pie dish, ensuring it fits snugly. Trim any excess crust overhanging the edges.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper until well combined and frothy.
  4. Evenly sprinkle the crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions over the bottom of the prepared pie crust.
  5. Carefully pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese, ensuring all ingredients are evenly coated.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the quiche is set in the center and the top is golden brown.
  7. Once baked, remove the quiche from the oven and allow it to cool for about 5-10 minutes before slicing into wedges and serving warm.
