Ingredients
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Salt (to taste)
- Black pepper (to taste)
- Paprika (1 teaspoon)
- Garlic powder (1 teaspoon)
- Feta cheese (1 cup, crumbled)
- Bacon (6 slices)
- Boneless, skinless chicken breasts (4 pieces)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lay the chicken breasts flat on a cutting board and use a sharp knife to cut a pocket into the side of each breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- In a small bowl, combine the crumbled feta cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the ingredients are combined.
- Stuff each chicken breast with the feta cheese mixture, pressing gently to ensure a full pocket. Use toothpicks to secure the opening of each breast.
- Wrap each stuffed chicken breast with 1.5 slices of bacon, tucking the ends underneath the chicken to ensure they stay in place during cooking.
- Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts to the skillet.
- Cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bacon is golden brown and crispy.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F) and the bacon is crispy.
- Remove the toothpicks from the chicken before serving. Enjoy hot!
