Ingredients

Pie crust
1 (9-inch) crust
Bacon
6 slices
Fresh spinach
2 cups, chopped
Cheddar cheese
1 cup, shredded
Eggs
4 large
Milk
1 cup
Garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon
Salt
1/4 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Carefully place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish, pressing it gently against the sides, and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until they are crispy, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from the skillet, allow to cool slightly, and crumble into small pieces.
  4. In the same skillet, add the chopped spinach and sauté until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
  6. Evenly spread the crumbled bacon, sautéed spinach, and shredded cheddar cheese over the bottom of the pie crust.
  7. Pour the egg mixture over the filling ingredients in the pie crust, ensuring even distribution.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set in the center and golden brown on top.
  9. Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
