- Jalapeno peppers
- 10, halved and seeded
- Cream cheese
- 8 ounces, softened
- Bacon
- 10 slices, cut in half
- Toothpicks

- 1/2 teaspoon (optional)
- Chives or green onions
- 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish, optional)
- Cooking spray

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil for easy cleanup and spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Cut the jalapeno peppers in half lengthwise and carefully remove the seeds and membranes to reduce the heat (you can leave some seeds for a spicier popper).
