Baked Halibut with Lemon Caper Butter

- 4 (6 ounces each) Halibut fillets

- 1/2 cup (1 stick) Unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons, chopped Fresh parsley
- 2 cloves, minced Garlic
- 2 tablespoons, rinsed and drained Capers
- 2 tablespoons, freshly squeezed Lemon juice

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Season both sides of the halibut fillets with salt and pepper, then place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the fillets in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- While the fish is baking, melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Stir in the lemon juice and capers, allowing the mixture to warm through for another minute.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and fold in the chopped parsley, mixing well.
- When the halibut is done baking, carefully remove it from the oven. Spoon the lemon caper butter generously over each fillet.
