  • Halibut fillets (4 (6 ounces each))
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Unsalted butter (1/2 cup (1 stick))
  • Fresh parsley (2 tablespoons, chopped)
  • Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • Capers (2 tablespoons, rinsed and drained)
  • Lemon juice (2 tablespoons, freshly squeezed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  3. Season both sides of the halibut fillets with salt and pepper, then place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake the fillets in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  5. While the fish is baking, melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
