- Halibut fillets (4 (6 ounces each))
- Salt (to taste)
- Black pepper (to taste)
- Unsalted butter (1/2 cup (1 stick))
- Fresh parsley (2 tablespoons, chopped)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Capers (2 tablespoons, rinsed and drained)
- Lemon juice (2 tablespoons, freshly squeezed)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Season both sides of the halibut fillets with salt and pepper, then place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the fillets in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- While the fish is baking, melt the unsalted butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
