1 cup, preferably fresh
Unsalted butter
4 tablespoons, melted
Garlic
3 cloves, minced
Fresh parsley
1/4 cup, chopped
Lemon juice
2 tablespoons, freshly squeezed
Salt
1/2 teaspoon, or to taste
Black pepper
1/4 teaspoon, or to taste
Paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the cleaned clams on a baking sheet, ensuring they are stable and won’t tip over.
  4. Generously spoon the breadcrumb mixture into each clam shell, pressing down slightly to compact the stuffing. Make sure to heap it a bit over the top for a crispy bite.
  5. Sprinkle a little paprika over the stuffing for added color and flavor.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and crispy.
