Banana Bread

This moist and delicious banana bread is perfect for breakfast or as a snack.

Ingredients

  • Chopped walnuts (1/2 cup)
  • Salt (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Baking soda (1 teaspoon)
  • Vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)
  • Eggs (2)
  • Unsalted butter (1/2 cup, melted)
  • Granulated sugar (1 cup)
  • All (purpose flour - 1 3/4 cups)
  • Ripe bananas (3)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
  3. Add the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  7. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 55-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  10. Transfer the banana bread to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
