Frozen ripe bananas
2-3, sliced before freezing
Milk (dairy or plant-based)
1-2 tablespoons (optional, for blending)
Cocoa powder or chocolate chips
2 tablespoons (optional, for chocolate flavor)
Peanut butter
1 tablespoon (optional, for creaminess)
Frozen strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries
1/2 cup (optional, for berry flavor)
Frozen mango or pineapple
1/2 cup (optional, for tropical flavor)
Vanilla extract
1 teaspoon (optional, for vanilla flavor)
Mint extract
1/4 teaspoon (optional, for mint chip flavor)
Dark chocolate chips
2 tablespoons (optional, for mint chip flavor)
Cookie butter/Biscoff
1 tablespoon (optional, for cookie butter flavor)

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen ripe banana slices in a food processor or high-powered blender.
  2. Blend until the bananas achieve a creamy, soft-serve consistency, stopping to scrape down the sides as necessary.
  3. If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of milk to help it blend smoothly.
  4. At this point, you can blend in any additional flavors or mix-ins of your choice, such as cocoa powder, peanut butter, frozen berries, tropical fruits, vanilla extract, mint extract, or cookie butter.
  5. Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture, or transfer to a container and freeze for 30-60 minutes for a firmer scoop.
