Creamy Banana Oatmeal

Ingredients

Ripe banana

Rolled oats

1 cup

Milk

1/2 cup

Water

1/2 cup

Honey

2 tablespoons

Cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon

Vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon

Salt

a pinch

Optional toppings (sliced banana, chopped nuts, or berries)

Instructions

1. In a medium-sized saucepan, mash the ripe banana using a fork until smooth.
2. Add the rolled oats, milk, water, honey, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the saucepan. Stir well to thoroughly combine all the ingredients.
3. Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir occasionally until the mixture comes to a boil.
4. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the oatmeal simmer for about 5 minutes, or until the oats are fully cooked and the mixture has thickened to your liking. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
5. Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the oatmeal to cool for a few minutes.
6. Pour the oatmeal into bowls and garnish with your choice of toppings such as sliced banana, chopped nuts, or fresh berries.
