Original recipe serves 4

Baguette
1, split into 4 pieces
Pork belly
1/2 pound, cooked and sliced
Chicken breast
1, cooked and sliced
Ham
1/2 pound, sliced
Carrots
1 cup, julienned
Daikon radish
1 cup, julienned
Cucumber
1, thinly sliced
Jalapeno
1, thinly sliced
Cilantro
1/2 cup, fresh leaves
Lime
1, cut into wedges
Mayonnaise
1/2 cup
Sriracha
2 tablespoons
White vinegar
1/2 cup
Sugar
2 tablespoons
Salt
1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Split the baguette into 4 equal pieces and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Bake the baguette pieces for about 10 minutes, or until they are lightly toasted and golden.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise and sriracha to create a spicy mayo; set aside.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix together the julienned carrots, daikon radish, white vinegar, sugar, and salt. Let this mixture sit for at least 30 minutes to pickle the vegetables.
  6. Spread the spicy mayo generously on the toasted baguette pieces.
  7. Layer the pickled vegetable mixture on top of the mayo, followed by slices of cucumber, jalapeno, and fresh cilantro.
  8. Top each baguette with slices of pork belly, chicken, and ham.
  9. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor.
