
Basil and Mozzarella Omelette
This delicious omelette is filled with fresh basil and melted mozzarella cheese.
Ingredients
- Olive oil (1 tablespoon)
- Black pepper (1/4 teaspoon)
- Salt (1/4 teaspoon)
- Mozzarella cheese (1/2 cup, shredded)
- Fresh basil leaves (1/4 cup, chopped)
- Eggs (4)
Instructions
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Pour the beaten eggs into the skillet and let it cook for a minute.
- Sprinkle chopped basil leaves and shredded mozzarella cheese on one half of the omelette.
- Fold the other half of the omelette over the filling.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the omelette is cooked through.
- Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve hot.
