4 large
Shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
  2. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper, mixing well to combine all flavors.
  4. Add the refried beans to the skillet, stirring until heated through and well combined with the beef mixture.
  5. Warm the flour tortillas in the microwave for about 30 seconds or on a griddle until pliable.
  6. Divide the beef and bean mixture evenly among the tortillas, about 1/4 of the mixture per tortilla.
  7. Top each burrito with shredded cheddar cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and a spoonful of salsa.
  8. Fold the sides of each tortilla inward and then roll up tightly from the bottom to form a burrito.
