Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper, mixing well to combine all flavors.
- Add the refried beans to the skillet, stirring until heated through and well combined with the beef mixture.
- Warm the flour tortillas in the microwave for about 30 seconds or on a griddle until pliable.
- Divide the beef and bean mixture evenly among the tortillas, about 1/4 of the mixture per tortilla.
- Top each burrito with shredded cheddar cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and a spoonful of salsa.
- Fold the sides of each tortilla inward and then roll up tightly from the bottom to form a burrito.
- Serve immediately, with extra salsa and sour cream on the side.
