Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Set this sauce mixture aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  3. Add the sliced beef to the skillet and stir fry for 2-3 minutes, until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and stir fry for 3-4 minutes, until they are tender-crisp.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet with the broccoli and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir fry for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli evenly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
  7. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.

Tips

  • 💡 For extra flavor, marinate the beef in a mixture of soy sauce and cornstarch for about 15 minutes before cooking.
  • 💡 Feel free to add other vegetables such as bell peppers, snap peas, or carrots for a colorful twist.
  • 💡 Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
