Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry

This delicious beef and broccoli stir fry is a quick and easy dish packed with flavor.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Vegetable oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Water (1/4 cup)
  • Cornstarch (1 tablespoon)
  • Sesame oil (1 tablespoon)
  • Ginger (1 tablespoon, grated)
  • Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
  • Oyster sauce (2 tablespoons)
  • Soy sauce (1/4 cup)
  • Broccoli florets (4 cups)
  • Beef sirloin (1 pound, thinly sliced)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  3. Add the sliced beef and stir fry for 2-3 minutes, until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and stir fry for 3-4 minutes, until tender-crisp.
  5. Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir fry for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
