
Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry
This delicious beef and broccoli stir fry is a quick and easy dish packed with flavor.
Ingredients
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Vegetable oil (2 tablespoons)
- Water (1/4 cup)
- Cornstarch (1 tablespoon)
- Sesame oil (1 tablespoon)
- Ginger (1 tablespoon, grated)
- Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
- Oyster sauce (2 tablespoons)
- Soy sauce (1/4 cup)
- Broccoli florets (4 cups)
- Beef sirloin (1 pound, thinly sliced)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add the sliced beef and stir fry for 2-3 minutes, until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the broccoli florets and stir fry for 3-4 minutes, until tender-crisp.
- Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir fry for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
