Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and brown sugar to create the marinade.
- Add the sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well-coated. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for deeper flavor.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the marinated beef to the skillet, cooking for 3-4 minutes or until the beef is cooked through and slightly caramelized. Remove from heat and set aside.
- To assemble the wraps, lay a lettuce leaf on top of each tortilla or wrap.
- Layer the cooked beef over the lettuce, then add the julienned carrots, sliced cucumber, and green onions.
- Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds over the top and drizzle with additional marinade if desired.
- Roll the wrap tightly, securing with toothpicks if necessary to hold everything in place.
- Repeat with the remaining ingredients and serve immediately for the best taste.
Tips
- For a spicier kick, add sliced jalapeños or a drizzle of Sriracha to the wraps.
