Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the ground coffee, crushed cardamom pods, whole cloves, cinnamon stick, and water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the coffee steep for an additional 5 minutes.
- While the coffee is steeping, heat the milk in a separate saucepan or in the microwave until hot but not boiling.
- Strain the coffee mixture into cups or mugs, removing the spices.
