Bhel Puri

Bhel Puri is a popular Indian street food snack made with puffed rice, vegetables, chutneys, and spices.

Ingredients

  • Salt (to taste)
  • Roasted cumin powder (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Chaat masala (1 teaspoon)
  • Lemon juice (1 tablespoon)
  • Sev (crispy chickpea flour noodles) (1/2 cup)
  • Mint chutney (2 tablespoons)
  • Tamarind chutney (2 tablespoons)
  • Cilantro (1/4 cup, chopped)
  • Green chili (1, finely chopped)
  • Potato (1 medium, boiled and diced)
  • Tomato (1 medium, finely chopped)
  • Onion (1 medium, finely chopped)
  • Puffed rice (2 cups)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the puffed rice, chopped onion, tomato, potato, green chili, and cilantro.
  2. Add the tamarind chutney, mint chutney, lemon juice, chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, and salt. Mix well to coat all the ingredients.
  3. Garnish with sev (crispy chickpea flour noodles) and additional cilantro.
  4. Serve immediately and enjoy the delicious Bhel Puri!
