Biscuits
1 package (8 biscuits)
Breakfast sausage
1 pound, crumbled
All-purpose flour
1/4 cup
Milk
2 cups
Salt
1 teaspoon
Black pepper
1/2 teaspoon
Scrambled eggs
4 large eggs, beaten
Shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup
Green onions
1/4 cup, chopped
Hot sauce
to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the biscuits according to package instructions until golden brown.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the crumbled breakfast sausage until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the all-purpose flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly until bubbly.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk, salt, and black pepper. Continue to cook until the mixture thickens and comes to a gentle simmer, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Return the cooked breakfast sausage to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  6. In a separate pan, scramble the beaten eggs over medium heat until fluffy and cooked to your liking.
  7. To assemble the burritos, place a baked biscuit on a plate and spoon a generous amount of sausage gravy onto it.
