Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the biscuits according to package instructions until golden brown.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the crumbled breakfast sausage until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the all-purpose flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly until bubbly.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, salt, and black pepper. Continue to cook until the mixture thickens and comes to a gentle simmer, about 3-5 minutes.
- Return the cooked breakfast sausage to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- In a separate pan, scramble the beaten eggs over medium heat until fluffy and cooked to your liking.
- To assemble the burritos, place a baked biscuit on a plate and spoon a generous amount of sausage gravy onto it.
- Top with scrambled eggs, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions. Add hot sauce if desired.
- Fold the sides of the biscuit over the filling, then roll it up tightly to form a burrito.
- Repeat with the remaining biscuits and filling.
- Serve the biscuits and gravy burritos warm, and enjoy this hearty breakfast!
