Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices. You should get about 12 slices.
- Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season evenly with salt and pepper.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the slices are golden and crispy.
- While the bread is baking, mix the goat cheese with 1/4 teaspoon of salt and black pepper in a small bowl.
- Once the baguette slices are ready, let them cool slightly. Then, spread a generous amount of the seasoned goat cheese onto each slice.
- Top each crostini with two to three blackberries. Drizzle the honey evenly across all the crostini.
- Garnish each crostini with a fresh basil leaf. Then, drizzle the balsamic glaze over the top.
- Serve immediately for the best taste and texture. Enjoy!
Tips
- For a warm variation, put the crostini back in the oven for a few minutes after adding the goat cheese and blackberries, then add the honey, basil, and balsamic glaze.
- For a vegan option, substitute vegan cheese for the goat cheese and use agave nectar instead of honey.
