Lime wedge
1 (for rimming and garnish)
Salt
1 tablespoon (for rimming)
Ice cubes
1 cup
Simple syrup
1 ounce
Fresh lime juice
1 ounce
Blue curacao
1 ounce
Tequila
2 ounces

Instructions

  1. Prepare your margarita glass by first running a lime wedge around the rim to wet it.
  2. Pour the salt onto a flat plate and dip the rim of the glass into the salt, ensuring an even coating.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, blue curacao, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and ice cubes.
  4. Close the shaker and give it a good shake until all the ingredients are well combined and chilled. This should take around 15-20 seconds.
  5. Carefully strain the cocktail mixture into the prepared margarita glass filled with additional ice cubes.
