Instructions
- Brew the ground coffee using your preferred method, such as a French press, drip coffee maker, or espresso machine, with 1 cup of water.
- In a small saucepan, combine the blueberries, honey, cinnamon, and cardamom. Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the blueberries burst and release their juices. Remove from heat.
- Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the blueberry mixture into a blender or food processor, discarding the solids. This will create a luscious blueberry syrup.
- Add the brewed coffee and milk to the blender with the blueberry syrup. Blend until well combined and frothy, about 30 seconds.
- Pour the Blue Mosque Berry Coffee into two mugs and serve hot. Optional: Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a few fresh blueberries for an extra touch of elegance.
Tips
- For a creamier texture, consider using steamed milk or adding a splash of heavy cream.
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey based on your preference.
- This recipe can easily be made as an iced coffee by blending the ingredients with ice instead of serving hot.
