Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1/2 cup Vermicelli
- 1/4 cup Sago
- 4 cups Milk
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 4, crushed Cardamom pods
- 1 Stick cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon Rose water
- 1/4 cup, for garnish Almond slivers

Instructions
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat until bubbly.
- Add the vermicelli and cook, stirring frequently, until it turns golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in the sago, milk, sugar, crushed cardamom pods, and stick cinnamon. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
- Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer gently for about 1 hour. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking, until the sago becomes transparent and the mixture thickens.
- Once thickened, remove the pot from heat and stir in the rose water for a fragrant finish.
