Lo mein noodles
8 ounces
Vegetable oil
2 tablespoons
Chicken breast
1 pound, sliced thinly
Garlic
3 cloves, minced
Ginger
1 tablespoon, minced
Bok choy
2 cups, chopped
Carrots
1 cup, julienned
Snow peas
1 cup, trimmed
Soy sauce
3 tablespoons
Oyster sauce
2 tablespoons
Sesame oil
1 tablespoon
Salt
to taste
Pepper
to taste
Green onions
2, sliced (for garnish)
Sesame seeds
1 tablespoon (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, tossing with a bit of oil to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced chicken breast to the skillet, cooking until browned and no longer pink in the center, about 5-6 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and ginger. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn.
  5. Add the chopped bok choy, julienned carrots, and trimmed snow peas. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp and vibrant in color.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil to create a flavorful sauce.
  7. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet along with the cooked lo mein noodles.
