
Bok Choy and Soy Sauce Stir Fry
This delicious stir fry features bok choy cooked in a savory soy sauce-based sauce.
Ingredients
- Black pepper (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- Vegetable oil (2 tablespoons)
- Water (1/4 cup)
- Cornstarch (1 tablespoon)
- Sesame oil (1 tablespoon)
- Soy sauce (3 tablespoons)
- Ginger (1 tablespoon, grated)
- Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
- Bok choy (4 heads, chopped)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
- Add the chopped bok choy to the skillet and stir fry for 3-4 minutes, until wilted but still crisp.
- Pour the soy sauce mixture over the bok choy and stir fry for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the vegetables.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and serve hot as a side dish.
