
Bolognese Linguine

Ingredients
- Parmesan cheese (to serve)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
- Linguine (400 grams)
- Canned tomatoes (400 grams)
- Red wine (1/2 cup)
- Tomato paste (2 tablespoons)
- Ground beef (500 grams)
- Celery (1 stalk, finely chopped)
- Carrot (1, finely chopped)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Onion (1, finely chopped)
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the onion, garlic, carrot, and celery, and cook until softened.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in the tomato paste and red wine, and cook for a few minutes.
- Add the canned tomatoes, season with salt and pepper, and let it simmer for about 45 minutes.
- In the meantime, cook the linguine according to the package instructions.
- Drain the linguine and add it to the pan with the sauce. Toss well to combine.
- Serve the Bolognese Linguine with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese on top.
