Boodog
Boodog, a traditional Mongolian dish, is a culinary masterpiece that offers a unique and flavorful experience. It is an authentic meal cooked with meat (usually lamb or beef), a colorful array of vegetables, and hot stones for an original, rustic cooking method. The hot stones provide a distinct, earthy flavor and an even heat that makes the meat incredibly tender. Ingredients
- A handful Fresh herbs (such as thyme or rosemary)
- 3 cloves, minced Garlic
- 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- enough to cover the meat Hot stones
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 2, sliced Bell peppers
- 2, sliced Potatoes
- 2, sliced Carrots
- 1, sliced Onions
- 1 kg, cut into chunks Lamb or beef

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Season the meat chunks with salt and pepper.
- In a large baking dish, create a bed of sliced onions, carrots, potatoes, and bell peppers.
- Place the seasoned meat on top of the vegetables.
- Arrange the hot stones around and on top of the meat.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the soy sauce and minced garlic. Stir until well combined.
- Drizzle the butter mixture evenly over the meat and vegetables.
- Sprinkle the fresh herbs on top.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 2 hours, or until the meat is tender and the vegetables are cooked through.
- Remove the foil and broil for a few minutes to brown the top.
- Carefully remove the hot stones before serving. Be cautious as they will be extremely hot.
- Serve the Boodog hot and savor the taste of this authentic Mongolian dish.
