Servings: 10
Ingredients
- Ham
- 1 (6-8 pounds), bone-in, fully cooked
- Brown sugar
- 1 cup
- Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup
- Apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup
- Ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon
- Ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Place the ham in a large roasting pan, fat side up.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, ground cloves, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg to create a rich glaze.
- Generously brush the glaze all over the ham, ensuring every nook and cranny is well coated for maximum flavor.
- Cover the ham with aluminum foil to keep it moist and bake for 2 hours.
- After 2 hours, remove the foil and allow the ham to bake uncovered for an additional 30 minutes, or until it is heated through and the glaze is caramelized and bubbly.
- Once done, remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring a juicy, flavorful serving.
