This Boston style pizza is a delicious combination of tangy tomato sauce, gooey cheese, and flavorful toppings.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Dried oregano (1 teaspoon)
  • Garlic powder (1 teaspoon)
  • Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Mushrooms (1 cup, sliced)
  • Onion (1, thinly sliced)
  • Green bell pepper (1, thinly sliced)
  • Pepperoni (1 cup, sliced)
  • Mozzarella cheese (2 cups, shredded)
  • Tomato sauce (1 cup)
  • Pizza dough (1 pound)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the dough to a greased pizza pan or baking sheet.
  4. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  6. Top with the sliced pepperoni, green bell pepper, onion, and mushrooms.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the toppings.
  8. Drizzle the olive oil over the pizza.
  9. Sprinkle with garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
