Brazilian Style Grilled Meat Skewers

These Brazilian-style meat skewers are marinated in a garlic and lime juice mixture, then grilled to perfection.

Ingredients

  • Wooden skewers (12)
  • Bell peppers (2, cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • Red onion (1 large, cut into 1-inch pieces)
  • Beef sirloin (2 pounds, cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • Black pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Salt (1 teaspoon)
  • Olive oil (1/4 cup)
  • Lime juice (1/2 cup)
  • Garlic (4 cloves, minced)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the garlic, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add the beef cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated beef, onion, and bell pepper onto the skewers.
