
Brazilian Style Grilled Meat Skewers
These Brazilian-style meat skewers are marinated in a garlic and lime juice mixture, then grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
- Wooden skewers (12)
- Bell peppers (2, cut into 1-inch pieces)
- Red onion (1 large, cut into 1-inch pieces)
- Beef sirloin (2 pounds, cut into 1-inch cubes)
- Black pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
- Salt (1 teaspoon)
- Olive oil (1/4 cup)
- Lime juice (1/2 cup)
- Garlic (4 cloves, minced)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the garlic, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the beef cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated beef, onion, and bell pepper onto the skewers.
- Grill the skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
