Beef brisket
3-4 pounds
Salt
1 teaspoon
Black pepper
1 teaspoon
Barbecue sauce
1 cup, plus more for serving
Buns
4-6, toasted
Coleslaw
2 cups

Instructions

  1. Season the beef brisket generously with salt and black pepper on all sides.
  2. Place the seasoned brisket in a slow cooker. Pour the barbecue sauce over the brisket, ensuring it's well-coated.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until the brisket is tender and shreds easily with a fork.
  4. Once cooked, remove the brisket from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Set aside.
