
Broccoli and Ham Omelette
This delicious omelette is filled with broccoli, ham, and cheese, making it a perfect breakfast or brunch option.
Ingredients
- Butter (1 tablespoon)
- Black pepper (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- Cheddar cheese (1/2 cup, shredded)
- Milk (2 tablespoons)
- Eggs (4)
- Ham (1/2 cup, diced)
- Broccoli (1 cup, chopped)
Instructions
- In a small pot, steam the chopped broccoli until tender. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.
- Heat butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and let it cook for a minute until the edges start to set.
- Sprinkle the cooked broccoli and diced ham evenly over one half of the omelette.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the broccoli and ham.
- Fold the other half of the omelette over the filling and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the omelette is cooked through.
- Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve hot.
