Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, season the ground beef with salt and pepper. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties, making a slight indentation in the center to prevent puffing while grilling.
- Grill the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness (medium-rare is about 130°F).
- While the burgers are grilling, prepare the bruschetta topping by combining the diced tomatoes, chopped basil, minced garlic, and olive oil in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and let it sit to allow the flavors to meld.
- During the last minute of grilling, place a slice of mozzarella cheese on each burger patty and close the grill lid to melt the cheese.
- Once cooked, place each patty on a toasted burger bun. Top generously with the tomato-basil mixture and drizzle with balsamic glaze for that perfect finishing touch.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your Bruschetta Burger!
Tips
- For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper flakes to the bruschetta mixture.
- If you want to switch up the cheese, try using burrata for a creamier texture.
- Grill some zucchini or bell peppers alongside the burgers for a delicious veggie side.
