Vitamin C Powder
1 teaspoon
Carbonated Water
4 cups
Water
2 cups
Granulated Sugar
1 cup
Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
1 cup

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing a simple syrup. Combine the granulated sugar and 1 cup of water in a saucepan. Heat it over medium heat and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the syrup cool to room temperature.
  3. While the syrup is cooling, squeeze enough lemons to make 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.
  4. In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice, the remaining water, the cooled simple syrup, and the vitamin C powder. Stir the mixture until everything is well combined.
  5. Just before serving your homemade C.C. Lemon, add the carbonated water to the pitcher. Stir gently to combine, ensuring the fizz is well-distributed but not lost.
