Rice vinegar

1/4 cup
Fresh ginger
1 tablespoon, minced

3 cloves, minced
Bell pepper
1, sliced (any color)
Carrots
2, julienned
Cabbage
4 cups, chopped
Chicken breast
1 pound, sliced thinly

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, cornstarch, and water until smooth. Set aside this flavorful sauce.
  2. Heat cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add the sliced chicken breast to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside on a plate.
  4. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and ginger. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn them.
  5. Add chopped cabbage, julienned carrots, and sliced bell pepper to the skillet. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes, or until the vegetables are crisp-tender but still vibrant in color.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and vegetables.
  7. Stir fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat all the ingredients evenly.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting the flavors as desired.
