- Garlic
- 3 cloves, minced
- Bell pepper
- 1, sliced (any color)
- Carrots
- 2, julienned
- Cabbage
- 4 cups, chopped
- Chicken breast
- 1 pound, sliced thinly
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, cornstarch, and water until smooth. Set aside this flavorful sauce.
- Heat cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the sliced chicken breast to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside on a plate.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and ginger. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn them.
- Add chopped cabbage, julienned carrots, and sliced bell pepper to the skillet. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes, or until the vegetables are crisp-tender but still vibrant in color.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and pour the prepared sauce over the chicken and vegetables.
- Stir fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat all the ingredients evenly.
